Man accused of killing two men in Channelview faces murder charges

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – A Houston man is facing murder charges in the deaths of two men in Channelview in May.

Charles Malcolm Alyea, 37, is charged with capital murder. Court documents said he was arrested Wednesday.

He is accused of fatally shooting Elias Galindo and Richard Holm, according to court documents.

Alyea was not given a bond.

Officials found a man's body in a burned car at 4:02 a.m. May 1 at John Ralston Road and Tidwell Road. Several hours later they found another man's body near Meadowbrook Park in Channelview.

At the time, the Harris County Sheriff's Office believed the cases to be connected.
