Two new Girl Scout cookies are coming in 2027 — one for you, one for your pup

New girl scout cookies announced (Girl Scout USA)

Your dog may finally have a cookie order of their own. Girl Scouts of the USA is shaking up its cookie lineup for 2027 with two brand-new treats, including one made specifically for your four-legged best friend.

The Girl Scouts announced Tuesday that Patch Pals and Girl Scout Sparkables will join the 2027 cookie lineup, bringing some firsts to the iconic cookie program.

Patch Pals, developed with BARK, is the first Girl Scout cookie created specifically for dogs.

The soft-baked treats are blueberry muffin-flavored and come in four different “patch” designs inspired by iconic Girl Scout experiences.

So while you enjoy your Thin Mints, your dog can officially have their own cookie stash, too.

And yes, that means your pup can finally participate in the annual tradition of begging for a bite, except this time, the cookie is actually for them.

The Girl Scouts are also introducing Girl Scout Sparkables, their first-ever cookie developed for families navigating certain food allergies.

The crunchy oatmeal cookies feature chocolate chips and colorful sprinkles. They were developed with Partake in a facility designed to avoid the nine major food allergens.

The Girl Scouts say the new cookie is meant to make cookie season more inclusive for families who haven’t always been able to participate in the same way.

Both new cookies will be online exclusives and will be available for direct shipping beginning Jan. 12, 2027, when the national Girl Scout Cookie season launches.

The national cookie season typically runs from January through April, although exact dates can vary by location.

And don’t worry, the classics aren’t going anywhere. Thin Mints, Samoas/Caramel deLites and Peanut Butter Patties/Tagalongs will still be part of the lineup.

So, in 2027, your cookie order could look a little different:

One box for you. One box for the kids. And maybe… one for the dog.

Girl Scouts say proceeds from cookie sales stay local and help fund experiences for troops and councils, including travel, outdoor adventures, community service, STEM programs and leadership development.
