The incident was verified at 11:59 p.m. Thursday.
Authorities say the crash involves a heavy truck and a hazardous materials spill, blocking the:
Left shoulder
Right shoulder
Left lane
Center lane
Right lane
Only one westbound lane remains open as crews work to respond to the incident and clean up the spill.
Drivers are urged to avoid the area and expect significant delays. Motorists should consider alternate routes while emergency crews remain on scene.
