HOUSTON – Pride Month is kicking off in a big way in Houston this weekend as thousands are expected to gather downtown for the 48th Annual Official Houston Pride LGBT+ Celebration Festival and Parade on Saturday.
For the first time in the event’s history, Houston’s largest Pride celebration is being held at the beginning of June rather than later in the month. Organizers moved the event to avoid scheduling conflicts with FIFA World Cup activities coming to Houston later this month.
