A major accident involving a utility terrain vehicle (UTV) has left three juveniles injured in northeast Harris County, prompting a large emergency response Monday.
According to Harris County Precinct 4 Constable Mark Herman’s Office, the crash occurred in the 16900 block of Shrub Oak Drive.

The UTV reportedly went into a nearby bayou. Deputies said three juveniles were hurt in the crash.
The extent of their injuries has not yet been confirmed.
It’s unclear why the children were in the vehicle or if it was being driven without supervision.
A Life Flight helicopter was called to the scene to assist with transporting at least one of the victims.
The area remains active with a heavy police and emergency presence as authorities investigate what led up to the crash.
