KPRC 2 and Rhythm Energy’s Athlete of the Week: Iowa Colony High School’s Chase Wiley
IOWA COLONY, Texas – This week’s Rhythm Energy Athlete of the Week hails from Alvin ISD’s Iowa Colony High school.
Chase Wiley is a standout for the Pioneers boys basketball program which won district and finished the season 29-8 advancing to the Regional tournament. Chase has been a leader for Head Coach Trent Olivier both on and off the basketball court this season earning 20-5A District MVP honors.
Chase plays at a high level but his passions go beyond basketball. Chase, who’s father is famous comedian Marcus D. Wiley, is active in Iowa Colony’s theatre arts program earning UIL honors.
