‘Get out, b---h’: 71-year-old with machete accused in road rage incident

Court documents detail suspect’s threats against driver

Houston – Deputies with Harris County Constable Precinct 4 are searching for a man accused of threatening a woman with a machete during a road rage incident last week.

Investigators have identified the suspect as 71-year-old Lawrence Taylor, who is now wanted for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

According to court documents, the incident happened around 8:30 a.m. on March 26 along Highway 249 near Grant Road in northwest Harris County.

Authorities say the woman was on her way to work when Taylor began yelling at her.

Court documents describe what happened next as a frightening confrontation.

The woman told investigators Taylor pulled his vehicle in front of her car, exited his vehicle with a machete in his hand and began making threats.

According to the arrest warrant, he said:

“Bi***, I’ll cut your god da** throat up” and “Get out b---h I’ll cut your motherf-----g head off”.

The woman said he knocked on her door as he was yelling expletives. As all of this was unfolding, she said she began to record the encounter on her cell phone.

KPRC 2 has also learned Taylor has a prior criminal history. Court records show he pleaded guilty in 1995 to causing injury to a child under 15 and was placed on deferred adjudication.

Court documents also state Taylor is already out on bail for a pending possessing marijuana case.

His bond has been set at $50,000.
