Man found dead in bullet-riddled vehicle after crash in north Houston

HOUSTON – Houston police are investigating after a man was found dead inside a car that was crashed and riddled with bullet holes Thursday night.

Houston police responded to reports of a crash in the 12400 block of Woodforest Boulevard around 9:30 p.m. and found a man inside a Hyundai Sedan dead.

According to initial reports, the vehicle had crashed into a barrier and was riddled with bullet holes. Investigators believe the vehicle was traveling westbound when it lost control, crossed a grassy divider, and ended up in the eastbound lanes.

Details surrounding what led up to the crash and the possible shooting are unknown.
