HOUSTON – Houston police are asking for the public’s help identifying three persons of interest in the fatal shooting of an 18-year-old man last year.

The Houston Police Department on Friday released surveillance photos of three males wanted for questioning in connection with the shooting of Cameron Washington.

Officers responded to a shooting call around 10:35 p.m. on Oct. 16, 2025, at an apartment complex in the 5300 block of Coke Street. Patrol officers found Washington suffering from at least one gunshot wound in a courtyard area of the complex. Paramedics transported him to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

According to HPD Homicide Division Sgt. C. Lamont and Detective C. Flora, investigators later identified three persons of interest believed to have information about the shooting. Authorities emphasized the individuals are not considered suspects at this time.
