HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – Authorities say a 57-year-old man is dead after being struck by a vehicle near the Cloverleaf-area in east Harris County Friday.

The Harris County Sheriff’s Office said it happened in the 12600 block of Woodforest Boulevard around 8 p.m.
HCSO Sgt. A. Turman said the pedestrian was crossing Woodforest towards an apartment complex when he was struck by a possible white 2013-2018 Ram pickup truck. Deputies say the truck fled.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
@HCSOTexas deputies responded to a crash in the 12600 block of Woodforest. A male pedestrian was struck and he’s been pronounced deceased at the scene.
The sheriff’s office says they are reviewing surveillance video and speaking with witnesses.

“There is a grieving family who are entitled to answers right now,” Sgt. Turman said. “If you have anything you can tell us that would help us understand and solve this, then please come forward.”
