Suspect attempts to flee after deputies find man shot to death near Tomball

TOMBALL, Texas – A man is dead after a shooting in the Tomball area Thursday morning,

Deputies with the Harris County Precinct 4 Office responded to reports of a shooting in the 24700 block of Hufsmith Kohrville Road around 2:30 a.m.

When deputies arrived, they said they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Deputies said a suspect was identified and arrested after attempting to flee the scene.
