17-year-old shot and killed in east Harris County Harris County Sheriff’s Office leads investigation into fatal shooting

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – Authorities are responding to a shooting in east Harris County that killed a teen boy Thursday night.
The Harris County Sheriff’s Office said the shooting happened in the 200 block of Uvalde Road, near the Cloverleaf neighborhood.
Responding officers found the teen with a gunshot wound. He is believed to be around 17 years old.
Officers said the teen was taken to a hospital where he died from his injuries.
Homicide detectives and CSI are investigating.
