HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – Two suspects have been arrested in connection to a body that was “accidentally” discovered with gunshot wounds at an east Harris County motel on Wednesday.
Pct. 3 deputies were performing a separate arrest warrant at a Deluxe Inn & Suites when they found the body, who authorities later identified as 33-year-old Jorge Gonzalez.
According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, Joseph Plattenberg, 41, and Jordyn Wells, 27, were arrested early Saturday morning and charged with murder.
Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzales said the suspects allegedly shot the victim because he owed them money.
Both suspects were booked into the Harris County Jail.
