Attention drivers, another major closure scheduled this weekend on Houston busy highway

HOUSTON, Texas – TxDOT has scheduled closures on a major Houston-area highway this weekend.

Starting at 8 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 17, the northbound connector ramps to IH-69 Southwest Freeway will be shut down for construction.

As an alternate route, drivers are advised to continue on SH-288 North to IH-45 and take the IH-45 South exit. The, continue on IH-45 South and take exit 44C to Cullen Blvd. Take a left at the Cullen Blvd intersection, and then follow the signs to IH-69. Then, you will take a right onto the ramp to SH-288/IH-69 and follow the signs to SH-288 South.
