Vacant hotel burning off Sheldon Road and I-10 in Channelview
CHANNELVIEW, Texas – Firefighters have responded to the scene where a hotel has caught on fire in the Channelview-area.
The fire is located off I-10 near Sheldon Road.
Houston Transtar cameras show the hotel with visible flames.
The fire appears to be at the vacant Fairfield Inn and Suites at the location. The building has seen multiple fires over the past two years and authorities say it has been routinely used by homeless individuals for shelter.
