HOUSTON, Texas – Spring ISD police believe there could be more possible victims after arresting a convicted felon for reportedly sexually assaulting and kidnapping a 15-year-old girl.
Johnny Ray Green, 43, was arrested on Monday, Jan. 12, and charged with aggravated kidnapping and sexual assault of a child. He remains in jail after his bond was denied Tuesday.
On September 3, 2025, according to court records, the teenager got intoxicated inside the bathroom at Dekaney High School before walking away from the campus.
She told police that while she was walking to a nearby fast-food restaurant, Green approached her and offered to drive her to a police station to help her get home. But instead, Green drove the girl to his house and assaulted her before dropping her back off.
Through surveillance video and DNA evidence, Green was tracked down, arrested and charged.
Now, Spring ISD is looking for other possible victims.
“Talk to your kids if anybody out there has had any interaction with the suspect, possibly have seen him hanging around, probably not going to be around the school, possibly in neighborhoods, things like that. We want to make sure the public knows we’re available to help,” Spring ISD Police Chief Matt Rodrigue said.
Green has a criminal history that includes convictions for felony aggravated robbery in 2000 and felony possession of a controlled substance in 2008. Court records also show Green was arrested for continuous sexual abuse of an 11-year-old girl in 2021, but the case was dismissed because of a missing witness.
