Man shot outside Fifth Ward gas station; shooter claims self-defense
Shooting outside gas station (Houston Police Department)
HOUSTON – Houston Police say a man has been hospitalized after being shot outside a gas station in the Fifth Ward Monday.
It happened in the 5400 block of East Freeway near Lockwood.
The wounded man has been transported to a hospital.
Police say the shooter stayed at the scene and is claiming self-defense.
Officers are investigating.
