Murder suspect arrested after shooting victim ‘in the back’ in north Harris County, court records say

A man named Jonah Cornnell McQueen has been charged with murder after allegedly shooting another man in the back in north Harris County. (Harris County Constable Precinct 4)

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – A man is facing a murder charge after authorities say he shot another man in northern Harris County.

Deputies with the Harris County Precinct 4 Constable’s Office responded to reports of a shooting in the 400 block of Thornwilde Park Lane where they said they found a deceased man inside a garage.

The suspect, Jonah Cornnell McQueen, 30, was arrested following search efforts on Friday morning and turned over to the Homicide Division. He was booked into the Harris County Jail on Saturday.

Court records say McQueen shot the victim in the back.

McQueen is due in court for a preliminary appearance on Monday at 9 a.m.
