Man hospitalized after shooting at NE Harris County apartments Deputies say altercation led to gunfire, suspect at large
HOUSTON – Deputies responded to a shooting at an apartment complex in northeast Harris County on Friday night that left one man hospitalized.
The Harris County Sheriff’s Office said they responded to reports of the shooting in the 5300 block of N Sam Houston Parkway around 10:30 p.m.
Responding patrol units said they found a man with multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to a hospital, but authorities did not reveal his condition.
HCSO Lt. J. Wheeler said preliminary findings indicate two men got into an argument before pulling out handguns and firing at each other. The other suspect fled the scene, Lt. Wheeler said.
Deputies believe both men are residents of the complex.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.
