Fire officials confirmed a body was found on Fellows Road and Del Papa Street; sheriff’s office investigating (OnScene, KPRC)
HOUSTON – A death investigation is underway after authorities found a body inside a car fire near State Highway 288 and Sam Houston Tollway, according to fire officials.
The Houston Fire Department confirmed the body was found around 4 a.m. Thursday morning by Fellows Road and Del Papa Street.
Both the Houston Police Department and Harris County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene.
At this time, it is unknown what started the fire.
The Harris County Sheriff’s Office are leading the investigation.
