3 Dead, Child Injured in Grand Parkway Wrong-Way Crash

A wrong-way driver on the Grand Parkway in Fort Bend County on Saturday morning led to a deadly collision that killed three people and left a 3-year-old child hospitalized. According to the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office, the family of four from Harris County was struck on SH-99 near FM 1464 around 2 a.m. Two victims, a woman and a girl, died at the scene, and a man later died at the hospital. The young child remains in stable condition. The suspected wrong-way driver, 28, was hospitalized and faces pending charges as the investigation continues.


Woman Found Dead in Collapsed Apartment After Large Fire in SW Houston

A woman was found dead inside a collapsed apartment unit after a large fire broke out at a southwest Houston complex Friday night. Firefighters responded to the fire, which caused significant structural damage, and located the victim amid the debris. Authorities have not yet released the victim’s identity or the cause of the fire, and the scene remains under investigation as emergency personnel assess the aftermath.
