HoustonTexas EquuSearch is joining search efforts for an El Paso woman who was reported missing earlier this month in Houston.

Sydney Marquez, 24, was last seen near the near Bellaire Boulevard and Gessner Road on December 11.

A Texas Center for the Missing bulletin says Sydney is 5′4″ and weighs 120 pounds. She has short red/brown/orange hair, an olive complexion and wears glasses.

According to Houston Police, Sydney was last seen wearing a gray hoodie, beige shirt, gray pants and white tennis shoes. She has a four-leaf clover tattoo on her left wrist.

HPD requested Texas EquuSearch’s help on Friday, KPRC confirmed. The organization is assisting the family in search efforts around Houston.

Sydney’s father, Raul Marquez, said his daughter was diagnosed with a mental illness around a year ago and believes she may have boarded a METRO bus before she disappeared, according to People magazine.
