Person fatally hit by vehicle in SW Houston, vehicle flees scene

HOUSTON – Houston Police say one person is dead after being hit by a vehicle in southwest Houston Thursday evening.
It happened around 7:20 p.m. at 2399 Bissonnet Street, near the intersection with Morningside Drive.
Details are limited, but authorities say the vehicle fled the scene.
There is no information or description on the suspect vehicle at this time.
