H-E-B recalls Red Lentil Dal Soup after milk allergen found in mislabeled containers

Meal Simple Red Lentil Dal Soup sold at H-E-B in Texas is being recalled.

Some 16-ounce cups were mislabeled and actually contained turkey and wild rice soup with undeclared milk.

The 16-ounce cups, with a best-by date of Jan. 11, 2026, were distributed from early November through early December 2025.

Consumers with milk allergies are warned of potential life-threatening reactions and should return the product for a full refund. No reports of illness have been made.
