Suspect accused of hitting man in head with TV before dumping body at nearby bus stop

HOUSTON – A 44-year-old man is accused of killing another man by hitting him in the head with a television before dumping his body at a nearby bus stop.

Carl Taylor is charged with murder and tampering with a human corpse.

Houston Police responded to the crime at around 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 25.

Court records indicate Taylor hit a man over the head with a television at an apartment, killing him.

He then allegedly wheeled the man in a wheelchair out to a nearby bus stop in the 600 block of East Tidwell Road, where he then left the man’s corpse.

Police say they found evidence of the murder inside Taylor’s apartment, leading to his arrest.

Investigators have been unable to identify the victim in this case.
