HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – The Harris County Sheriff’s Office said a body has been found during a search for a man they say fell off a jet ski in the Muleshoe Lake area of the San Jacinto River on Tuesday.

Officials responded to the 1300 block of Cypress Street in the Highlands area of East Harris County.

The man was reportedly riding the jet ski in Muleshoe Lake when he fell off and went under water. Authorities say he did not resurface.
Multiple agencies, including a HCSO dive team responded to assist in the search.
On Thursday, HCSO confirmed that a body had been found in the water. Nothing is confirmed, but Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said it is believed to be the missing man.
