Ground delays issued at Bush, Hobby airports due to staffing

Ground delays are in place at Houston’s George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) and William P. Hobby Airport (HOU) because of continued staffing issues, per the FAA’s website.
This is the latest airport complication in a string of staffing delays that have impacted the airports since the government shutdown started on Oct. 1.

The Bush delay started at 4:30 p.m. and is slated to last until 9:30 p.m.
The Hobby delay started at 5 p.m. and is slated to last until 9 p.m.
