Suspect sought after man found shot to death inside vehicle in Galveston

GALVESTON, Texas – Police in Galveston are searching for a suspect after a man was found shot to death inside a car Saturday evening.

It happened just before 7 p.m. Saturday near the intersection of Avenue N 1/2 and 18th Street.

Police responded after getting reports of multiple gunshots being fired in the area. They found a man in his late 20s inside the vehicle.

EMS arrived at the scene and pronounced the man dead at the scene.

Right now, a suspect is not in custody and the investigation is ongoing.
