Man killed after forklift overturns on him at NW Harris County business

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – A man is dead after authorities say a forklift overturned on him, killing him.

It happened around 3:45 p.m. at Dixie Foundation Drilling in the 5400 block of Killough Street, just off Antoine Drive.

According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, a woman called and said a worker had flipped in the forklift.

The licensed forklift operator, in his 50s, appeared to have been moving something heavy when surveillance video showed the forklift start to collapse onto him.

EMS arrive and found him outside the building. He was confirmed dead at 4:12 p.m.
