HPD: Motorcyclist killed in crash while racing in Southwest Houston

HOUSTON – Investigators believe a motorcyclist was killed in a crash while racing in Southwest Houston.
Witnesses said a motorcyclist was racing on Westheimer Road near Chimney Rock Road at about 2 a.m. Saturday.
They said he lost control, hit a curb and crashed.
He died at the scene.
There was no word on if any other drivers remained at the scene and were cooperating with the investigation.
His identity had not yet been released.
