Multiple people treated for heat-related illnesses at Cardi B’s meet-and-greet in Cypress

CYPRESS, Texas – Harris County officials confirm multiple people are being treated for various heat-related illnesses after attending a meet-and-greet for Cardi B in Cypress.

The meet-and-greet is being held at the Walmart at 8927 Fry Road.

The Cy-Fair Fire Department confirms multiple people have been treated for heat-related illnesses.

Officials are setting up a cooling station and medical units are at the scene from both the Cy-Fair Fire Department and other departments.

The meet-and-greet is for fans to have a chance to take a photo with Cardi B after purchasing a pre-signed copy of her new album “Am I the Drama”. It is scheduled to go until 10 p.m.
