Crews respond to report of body in canal along East Freeway

Houston Fire Department crews are searching a canal near the East Freeway after receiving reports of a possible body in the water on Monday.

• Body located in Houston’s Brays Bayou

Officials said units responded to the 13400 block of the East Freeway, near Greens Bayou in the North Shore/Cloverleaf area.

As of now, firefighters have not confirmed that a body has been located but said crews are actively searching the area.
