Family searching for missing 23-year-old man last seen in W. Houston

HOUSTON – Family members are searching for a missing 23-year-old man last seen Tuesday.

23-year-old Kendrick Edwards was last seen around noon on Tuesday in the 9400 block of Briar Forest Drive.

Edwards is reportedly diagnosed with autism. Although he is verbal, he can become non-verbal when stressed.

Authorities say Edwards was last seen wearing a gray t-shirt, gray shorts and white Nike shoes. He was also reported to be wearing a gray backpack.

Both Houston Police and Texas Equusearch are said to be involved in the search.
