HPD: Chase ends in fiery crash in Northeast Houston
HOUSTON – Two people are recovering after police said they led officers on a chase that ended in a fiery crash in northeast Houston.

Intense flames were seen shooting from a pickup truck on Lockwood Drive and Caplin Street at about 1 a.m. Saturday.
Police said moments before, two people inside the stolen truck led officers on a chase.

They crashed into a concrete barrier, and the pickup truck burst into flames. The two people escaped and were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
No one else was injured.
It’s unclear how and where the chase started.
