Investigation underway after deadly shooting at NW Houston apartment complex

HOUSTON, Texas – A man is dead after being shot at an apartment complex in northwest Houston Monday morning.

Houston police responded to reports of a shooting at an apartment complex located at 6401 Deihl Road around 11:40 a.m.

When officers arrived, they learned that a woman who lives with the man attempted to transport him to the hospital but pulled over at Tidwell and TC Jester to wait for the ambulance.

Unfortunately, the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators said two men in their 20s or possibly late teens were discussing a business deal when one of the men shot the other.

It’s not clear what type of business deal was being discussed, but officers said they found a pistol and drugs inside the apartment.
