Man found shot to death in ditch after argument in north Houston

HOUSTON – Houston Police are investigating after a man was found shot to death outside an apartment complex on the north side on Thursday.

Police say it happened around 7:30 p.m. in the 8300 block of Bauman Road.

Lt. Larry Crowson with HPD says the man was standing on the side of the road when a car pulled up.

He then got into an argument with people inside a vehicle, and during the argument, gunshots were fired from the car, hitting the man.

The man ran across the road and jumped over a ditch before collapsing on the lawn in front of an apartment complex.

The suspect vehicle then fled the scene heading north.

The description of the vehicle is vague right now, described only as a sedan.

Police are trying to find more information about the vehicle.
