Cleveland ISD school bus carrying 58 students overturned, flipped onto its side after crashing on FM 1010

TEXAS – A Cleveland ISD school bus carrying 58 students was involved in a crash on Wednesday morning.

The crash was reported on FM 1010 just south of Loop 105.

It’s not clear how many children were on the bus, which flipped to its side during the crash, but officials said the students were immediately removed from the bus and no major injuries were reported.

The district said students are being evaluated, and 16 were taken to Kingwood Hospital with minor injuries.

Parents have been notified.

Emergency responders, Cleveland ISD leadership, and law enforcement remain on scene.

The district said it will continue to share verified updates as they become available.

On Monday, another Cleveland ISD bus was involved in a crash on FM 1010. Thirty-six students were transported to local hospitals for further evaluation, but no life-threatening injuries were reported.
