Man found dead in street with multiple stab wounds in Houston’s Kashmere Gardens area

Houston Police are investigating after a man was found dead in the middle of the street in the Kashmere Gardens area.

Police said it happened around 9 a.m. in the 4500 block of Pickfair Street when they received 911 calls of a man in the roadway.

When officers arrived, they found an unresponsive 36-year-old man in the street with multiple stab wounds. People who found him attempted CPR on him, but he was pronounced dead.

Police say neighbors in the area have seen the man before, and said he has worked for several people in the area.
