Houston police are investigating a fatal car crash where a driver fled the scene on foot.
The collision happened at around 3:45 a.m. Sunday, July 27, on the 9300 block of the I-45 North Freeway.

HPD officials reported that a silver Chevrolet Malibu was disabled in a moving lane of traffic at the location, and the female driver was pushing it.
A green Toyota Tacoma struck the Malibu and a red Toyota RAV4. The circumstances of the crash are not clear at this time.
The occupants of the Toyota Tacoma abandoned their vehicle and fled on foot without attempting to stop and help.
The female pedestrian was pronounced dead by Houston Fire Department paramedics who responded to the scene. Her identity is pending.
