HOUSTON – Authorities need your help finding a man caught on camera walking out of a CVS Pharmacy in southwest Houston with items he didn’t pay for.

According to the Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division, the unidentified man walked into the drug store on Beechnut Street and Fondren Road back in late June.

Surveillance video shows the man walking around before grabbing a variety of items.

The Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division needs the public's assistance identifying the suspect responsible for a shoplifting turned robbery by threat. On Friday, June 27, 2025, at around 7:30 pm, an unknown male entered a drug store, located at the 7100 block of Beechnut, in Houston, Texas. The male walked around and grabbed a variety of merchandise from within the store. An employee recognized the male as a frequent shoplifter and confronted him about the merchandise as he was leaving without paying for it. The suspect then threatened to harm the employee and fled the location on foot. Houston PD #837184-25 Suspect descriptions: Black male, thin build, wearing a gray and navy shirt, blue Nike shorts, and black shoes. Police said an employee “recognized the male as a frequent shoplifter.” That employee, along with another coworker, confronted the man, and video shows the two following the accused shoplifter but keeping a short distance.

The video does not include audio, so it’s unclear what was said, but HPD said the man threatened to harm the employees and walked outside of the store with the unpurchased items.
