Armed, masked men on the run after trying to shoot way into north Harris County apartment

HOUSTON – Deputy constables are looking for two masked and armed men seen outside an apartment in north Harris County early Friday morning.

Details are limited as it’s an active investigation, but according to Harris County Precinct 4 Constable Mark Herman, at least two gunmen wearing ski masks were seen outside an apartment on Kuykendahl Road near Rankin and Ella Boulevard.

Constable Herman said the two men were reportedly trying to shoot into the home before they fled in a gray Honda with tinted windows. The call was made just minutes into the incident, and officers quickly surrounded the area.

One of the masked gunmen was described as wearing a red jacket and blue jeans.
