Man dead, suspect detained after shooting at Spring apartment complex Spring shooting (Harris County Pct. 4 Constable's Office)
SPRING, Texas – A man is dead after a shooting at an apartment complex in Spring.
The Harris County Pct. 4 Constable’s Office says it happened in the 2800 block of Hirschfield Road.
Deputies arrived to find a man with a gunshot wound to his chest. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The suspected shooter has been identified and authorities say he is currently detained.
Authorities say the shooting happened during some kind of verbal altercation between the two men.
It is unclear what the argument was about and authorities say it is also unclear whether this is a murder or a self-defense case. They are still working to determine that.
The investigation continues.
