Country music star and Kerrville native Robert Earl Keen is making a difference after his hometown was hit with devastating floods.
In an Instagram post, the singer announced plans for a charity concert to benefit those hit hardest by the Hill Country floods.
“This is a star-studded lineup with music starting in the mid-afternoon and lasting far into the night. So, stay tuned for the lineup and more details,” a portion of Keen’s post read.
The concert will be held at Whitewater Amphitheater near New Braunfels, Texas, on Aug. 28.
Keen’s band is also donating 100&% of its merchandise sales on its current tour to those in need.
In a separate earlier post, Keen encouraged residents to donate to families in need through the Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country.
