On Monday, state officials said search and rescue operations are still ongoing from Hunt in North Kerr County to Canyon Lake in Comal County. They said search areas are divided into segments, with each team taking one to three hours to cover up to two kilometers. There are currently 19 local and state agencies helping with search efforts, including on boats, with ground teams, dogs, drones, and helicopters.

So far, there have been more than 800 rescues, 150 being high-water rescues.

As of Monday, Kerr and surrounding counties are asking people wanting to volunteer to register beforehand via the Kerrville Salvation Army by calling 830-465-4797 or showing up in person at 855 Hayes St.

Monetary donations can be sent directly to communityfoundation.net (Kerr County Relief Fund).
