Person struck by train in west Houston; traffic blockage anticipated in area

A person has been struck by a train on Houston’s westside.

The incident happened at 12:01 p.m. near the intersection of Roy Street and Allen Street.

The victim was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital in the medical center, HFD confirmed. They were not able to speak definitively on the victim’s condition at this time.
