The Houston Rockets have agreed to a long-term extension with one of their most productive players.
Sunday night, ESPN Senior NBA Insider Shams Charania announced that the team had signed Jabari Smith Jr. to a five-year contract extension worth $122 million.

The deal is fully guaranteed and will keep Smith in H-Town through the 2030-31 season.
Smith was selected with the third overall pick in the 2022 NBA Draft. In his three NBA seasons, he has averaged 13.0 points, 7.5 rebounds and 1.3 assist per game.
He is expected to be a long-term member of the team’s starting lineup and learn from newly acquired superstar Kevin Durant.
