Mother finds child unresponsive in neighbor’s pool in Cypress

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – A young child has been taken to a hospital in critical condition after authorities say the child’s mother found them in a neighbor’s pool.

The Harris County Sheriff’s Office says it happened in the 10800 block of Slumbering Falls Lane in the Cypress area.

Deputies were called to the home around 7:30 p.m. Wednesday evening.

The child, who authorities say is possibly 4-years-old, was found unresponsive in a neighbor’s pool.

The child was taken to a hospital where they are said to be in critical condition.
