Man wanted for tying up, assaulting elderly Alvin resident before robbing him

Police are asking for the public’s help locating a man accused of attacking and robbing an elderly resident inside a mobile home community in Alvin.

On May 24, Alvin police responded to a mobile home community on S Mustang Road around 8:30 a.m. A man identified as Darryl Wayne Pressley, 58, of San Leon, attacked the elderly victim inside his home.

Investigators said Pressley, who the victim had previously hired for maintenance work, assaulted the man several times before stealing cash and leaving the scene.

Pressley was last seen driving a red Toyota Camry and is wanted for aggravated robbery and several other felony warrants.
