HOUSTON – A home was burned down during a fire Wednesday afternoon in an Acres Homes neighborhood, according to the Houston Fire Department.
The fire was reported at 2:52 p.m. at a home located at 7929 De Priest St. Firefighters battled the blaze minutes after the call, and it was extinguished by 3:15 p.m.
Although the flames were doused, fire crews were not able to immediately enter the home to search inside.
There have been no reports of injuries or hospitalizations. The investigation is ongoing to determine what caused the fire.
