Police asking for information after woman was shot, killed in Southwest Houston

HOUSTON – Police need help finding the person who shot and killed a woman in Southwest Houston.
Investigators said firefighters were called to West Bartell Drive and Westridge Street at about 1 a.m. Sunday regarding a person down at a shopping center.
When firefighters arrived, they found a woman who had been shot multiple times.
She died at the scene.
They were able to flag down police officers that were responding to another
The victim was in her late 20s to early 30s.
Anyone with information is urged to call Crime Stoppers at (713) 222-TIPS.
